How To Use The Leads

By having accurate, complete sales leads at your disposal, it is easy to setup marketing plans and begin building your sales pipeline.

Business 2 Business Sales Calls
Calling prospects via phone is easier when you have an actual contact to speak to. Most sales professionals prospect by "cold calling" without even having a contact name. Getting through receptionists or "gatekeepers" can prove difficult, but by having contact names you can bypass these people.
- Plan out what you are going to say. You don't need to have an exact word for word script when you call a client, but at least have some type of purpose and plan before you pick up the phone.
- Be personable, and state how your company can help benefit their company.
- Be considerate, if people would not like to setup a meeting or simply are not interested in your offerings, do not keep bothering them.

Direct Mailers
Even though the internet and email seems like a much easier way to market, direct mailing is still a very powerful and effective way to market.
- Spend time and create a professional looking, informational mailer.
- Check spelling and accuracy on all mailers.
- Send incentives along with mailers to entice new prospects, such as coupons, free product samples, etc.
- Do not send deceptive mail, or bombard people with mailers.
- Set up a themed or scheduled mailing schedule, such as Summer Specials, Monthly newsletters, etc.

Internet and Email Marketing
Internet and email marketing is an inexpensive and easy way to market to prospects, although there are rules of conduct to follow.
- When emailing prospects always offer a way to unsubscribe or stop receiving emails that have been unsolicted.
- Do not send emails with deceptive subject lines or website links.
- Company websites of prospects are a great way to find more information about them, and prepare you to speak to their needs and challenges.
